Walt Ellison

A veteran educator of 21 years, Walt Ellison works in Fayette County, Georgia as a regular education and special education teacher serving students in social studies classes. As a special education teacher, Mr. Ellison developed programming for the Georgia Council on Economics Education (GCEE) highlighting effective instruction strategies in special education economics classrooms. In addition he has written curriculum for the GCEE, Teaching American History Grants, the Georgia Humanities Council, the Center for Economic Education and the Federal Reserve of St. Louis. Walt is known for his charisma and energy, making him an in demand speaker with experience presenting at the state and national level. Currently, Mr. Ellison serves on the board for the Georgia Association of Economic Educators.
