In this webinar teachers will:

  • Explore the concept of the value of using children’s literature to engage the students’ interest in cultural events.
  • Connect the concepts of markets, entrepreneurship, choices, decision-making, and productive resources to the featured titles.
  • Consider the cross curricular possibilities of the topic as related to the social sciences and creative problem solving.
  • Work through the activity-based lessons and become familiar with some of the methods used to present these lessons and activities.
  • Review an annotated bibliography listing children’s books that contain economic concepts dealing with Thanksgiving titles featuring economic concepts.
